Job Title: Workshop Manager

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time


Description

We are looking for a seasoned Workshop Manager with a strong engineering background and extensive experience in heavy truck maintenance.
The ideal candidate will lead our workshop operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our fleet while managing a team of skilled technicians.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the workshop, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance of heavy-duty trucks
Supervise and mentor workshop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules and repair protocols
Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Liaise with logistics and operations teams to align maintenance activities with business needs
Prepare and present reports on workshop performance, costs, and fleet condition

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a logistics or transportation company
Proven expertise in heavy truck maintenance and workshop management
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with maintenance software and reporting systems is an advantage.
