JEV Consulting - Our client, one of the major players in the ICT industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions while collaborating with technical and project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries.
Sell enterprise IT solutions: hardware, networking, cloud, security, power, and managed services.
Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with clients.
Conduct solution presentations, demos, and customer needs analysis.
Collaborate with presales and technical teams to develop proposals and solutions.
Lead preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and tender submissions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales deals.
Maintain CRM pipeline, sales reports, and revenue forecasts.
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets
New client acquisition rate
Sales pipeline conversion ratio
Customer retention rate
Proposal win rate.

Requirements

Education: B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Business
Experience: 2–5 years proven IT B2B sales experience
Industry Expertise: Experience in enterprise technology sales or IT services
Certifications: OEM sales certifications (Cisco, Dell, Microsoft) preferred
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking, servers, cloud, cybersecurity, and power systems
Person Specification:

Strong sales closing ability and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand and explain technical solutions
Result-oriented and self-motivated with a hunter mindset
Team player and relationship builder
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Professional appearance and strong client-facing skills.
