Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Port Harocurt, Rivers
Job Summary
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to increase the hotel’s market presence and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and corporate accounts.
Promote hotel services (accommodation, events, dining, etc.) to potential customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or hospitality (hotel industry experience is an advantage).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Knowledge of Port Harcourt’s hospitality and corporate landscape is an added advantage.
